Moonlight is the client side of a game-streaming setup: the game runs on a host machine, and Moonlight displays the stream while sending your input back. Pairing it with a host such as Sunshine lets you use another device as the screen and controller endpoint. The experience depends on both the host's encoding capabilities and the connection between the devices.
